Information on withdrawal of Intel Anti-Theft service from Norton Anti-Theft portal

Intel has announced its decision to end their security offerings and subsequently end-of-life its Intel® Anti-Theft service which is terminated in January 2015. As a result, Symantec no longer offers the Intel Anti-Theft functionality as part of the Norton Anti-Theft offering.

Norton Anti-Theft works with the Intel® Anti-Theft service to provide multiple levels of protection, to secure your laptop with built-in hardware components. Please note that Intel has chosen to discontinue its Intel Anti-Theft functionality, and the support of the feature has been discontinued in January 2015.

However, you can be assured that even without Intel's technology, your Norton Anti-Theft protection still lets you lock your device in the event it is lost or stolen.

Thank you!

Thank you for using Norton Support.
