Message: "Service Canceled: Your service has been canceled..."

This message appears when you have canceled your Comcast high-speed Internet or XFINITY Internet subscription. Norton Security Suite service comes with your Comcast high-speed Internet or XFINITY Internet subscription, and gets discontinued when you cancel your Comcast subscription.

If you have not canceled your Comcast subscription or have recently moved to a new address, uninstall and reinstall Norton Security Suite to fix this problem. Use the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool to reinstall the Norton Security Suite.

Additionally, your version of Norton Security Suite may be outdated and you may need to upgrade to the latest version.

Save the Norton Security Suite PIN

    You need to save the Norton Security Suite PIN before you run the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool. You can find your PIN in the following location.

  1. Go to the Comcast website.

  2. Click Get Norton Security Suite.

  3. Sign in with your Comcast user name and password.

  4. In the Norton Download Manager window, under your Norton product, find the Service PIN and write it down.

    Save the PIN for your records.

Run the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool

    If you have Norton Family installed, uninstall it before you run the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool.

  1. Download the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool.

    Save the file to the Windows desktop. On some browsers, the file is automatically saved to its default location.

  2. To open the Downloads window in your browser, press the Ctrl + J key.

  3. Double-click the NRnR icon.

  4. Read the license agreement, and click Agree.

  5. Click Advanced Options.

  6. Click Remove Only.

  7. Click Remove.

  8. Click Restart Now.

    After the computer restarts, follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall Norton.
