Message: "Service Canceled: Your service has been canceled..." when I activate Norton Security Suite or Norton Business Suite

This message appears when you have canceled your Comcast high-speed Internet or XFINITY Internet subscription. Norton Security Suite or Norton Business Suite service comes with your Comcast high-speed Internet or XFINITY Internet subscription, and gets discontinued when you cancel your Comcast subscription.

If you have not canceled your Comcast subscription or have recently moved to a new address, uninstall and reinstall Norton Security Suite or Norton Business Suite to fix this problem. Use the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall Norton Security Suite or Norton Business Suite.

Additionally, your version of Norton Security Suite or Norton Business Suite may be outdated and you may need to upgrade to the latest version.

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool

    The Norton Removal Tool uninstalls Norton AntiVirus, Norton Internet Security, Norton 360, and Norton SystemWorks from your computer. If you use ACT! or WinFax, back up those databases before you proceed.

  1. Download the Norton Removal Tool.

    Save the file to the Windows desktop.

  2. On the Windows desktop, double-click the Norton Removal Tool icon.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. Restart your computer.

    After the computer restarts, you can download and install your Norton product. For instructions, read Reinstalling Norton Security Suite or Norton Business Suite after running the Norton Removal Tool.
