Message: "Service Canceled: Your service has been canceled..." when I activate Norton Security Suite

This message appears when you have canceled your Comcast high-speed Internet or XFINITY Internet subscription. Norton Security Suite service comes with your Comcast high-speed Internet or XFINITY Internet subscription, and gets discontinued when you cancel your Comcast subscription.

If you have not canceled your Comcast subscription or have recently moved to a new address, uninstall and reinstall Norton Security Suite to fix this problem. Use the Norton Removal Tool to uninstall Norton Security Suite.

Additionally, your version of Norton Security Suite may be outdated and you may need to upgrade to the latest version.

Save the Norton Security Suite PIN

You need to save the Norton Security Suite PIN before you run the Norton Removal Tool. You can find your PIN in the following locations

Download and run the Norton Removal Tool

  1. Download the Norton Removal Tool.

    Save the file to the Windows desktop.

  2. On the Windows desktop, double-click the Norton Removal Tool icon.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. Restart your computer.

    After the computer restarts, you can download and install your Norton product. For instructions, read Reinstalling Norton Security Suite after running the Norton Removal Tool.
