Backing up existing configurations in pcAnywhere

When you want to reinstall or upgrade to a newer version of pcAnywhere, you can back up the existing pcAnywhere configurations and later import them. These configurations include the connection items and caller information files.

Data Backup:

Before you upgrade or uninstall pcAnywhere, save the pcAnywhere Data folder to a safe location. Later, you can restore the backed up data folder to restore the configurations.

The following table shows the default locations for the pcAnywhere data by version and platform:
