Restoring the files or folders that are backed up with Norton Security Suite or Norton Business Suite

Restore files or folders

  1. Start your Norton product.

  2. In the main window, click Backup.

  3. Click Restore Files.

  4. Under Restore From, by default, the original location is selected. If you want to change the source location, click View All, and select the source, and then click OK.

  5. Under Files, do one of the following:

    • To restore all of the categories, select all of the categories.

    • To restore a specific category, uncheck all of the categories except for the one that you want to restore.

    • To restore a specific file, click Search and search for the file, uncheck all the files except for the one that you want to restore, and then click OK.

  6. Under Restore To, select the location to which you want to restore the file.

    By default, the original location is selected. If you want to restore the file to a new location, click Change, and select the new location.

  7. Click Restore Files.

  8. In the Confirm Overwrite window, if prompted click Yes.

  9. After the restore process is finished, click OK.
