Enable Norton Identity Safe toolbar in Mozilla Firefox

The latest versions of Norton Internet Security, Norton 360, Norton Security, Norton Security with Backup, and Norton Identity Safe are compatible with Firefox versions 36, 37, and 38. You can get the latest version of your Norton product from Norton Update Center. If your Norton product is from your service provider, check with your service provider to make sure that you have the latest version.

Norton Security and Norton Security with Backup availability is limited. Read Availability of Norton Security for more information.

If you have an older version of Firefox, you can download and install the current version from the Mozilla website.

STEP 1

Run LiveUpdate

  1. Start your Norton product.

  2. In the main window, click Security, and then click LiveUpdate.

If you have Norton Identity Safe, click the Settings icon at the bottom of the main window. In the Settings window, on the About tab, click Check for new updates.

  3. When Norton LiveUpdate is finished, click OK.

  4. Run LiveUpdate until you see the message, "Your Norton product has the latest protection updates."

  5. Exit all the programs, and restart the computer.

After you install all the updates for your Norton product, and still cannot find the Norton Toolbar in Firefox, go to Step 2 to turn on the Norton Toolbar add-on.
