I want to download my Norton product on my device

Protecting your devices and managing your Norton product is as easy as adding a new device in the Norton Management portal. Follow these instructions to install or reinstall your Norton product registered to your account.

Your Norton account is automatically created when you purchase from the Norton Online Store or register your product during the first installation. If your product is not registered to your account, follow the instructions to download your Norton product not registered to your Norton account.

Follow the below instructions from the device you need to install on by accessing the instructions at You may also find Sending an email with install instructions to a different device helpful.


Log in to your account

  1. Go to Norton Management.

  2. Click Sign In.

  3. Sign in to Norton with your email address and password.

    • If you need help to recover your password for your account, see the solution, Recovering your Norton account password.

    • If you see the message "Action Required: Save your order online" when you sign in to Norton Management, click here.


Add your device

  1. Click Add Device.

  2. Click Download.

    If you have other products available to install on your device you can select the Choose a different product link under the picture of the product box to install a different product.

  3. Follow the instructions displayed to Run or Save and Run the Downloader file. These can be different depending on your browser.

    Once the Downloader is executed, your product will be downloaded, installed, and activated automatically. Your device will display its current protection status and additional software can be installed from within Norton Management.

Sending an email with install instructions to a different device

    You can send yourself an email with instructions to install your Norton product on a different device through Norton Management.

  1. Log in to your account following the instructions above.

  2. Click Add Device.

  3. Click the Install on a different device link.

  4. If prompted, choose the operating system of the device you want to send email instructions to.

  5. Enter an email address you can access on your device and click Send.

    An email will be sent to you with instructions, specific to your platform, for adding the device and installing your Norton product. For mobile devices you will be directed to the appropriate App Store. For other devices you will be directed to Be sure to select Install product from the 'Already activated your key?' section.

    Norton AntiVirus for Mac cannot be managed through Norton Management portal.
