Norton Family does not report social networking activities

To monitor and report the social networking activities by Norton Family, Norton Family plug-in must be installed and enabled in your browser. If you do not see the Norton Family plug-in in your browser, you need to reinstall Norton Family .

Check the status of Norton Family plug-in in Internet Explorer

  1. Start Internet Explorer.

  2. On the Tools menu, click Manage Add-ons.

  3. In the Manage Add-ons window, under Add-on Types, select Toolbars and Extensions.

  4. If the status of Norton Family BHO is shown as Disabled, click Enable.

  5. Click OK.

  6. Restart Internet Explorer to apply the changes.

Check the status of Norton Family plug-in in Firefox

  1. Start Firefox.

  2. On the top-right corner, click the Open menu icon, and click Add-ons.

  3. On the Extensions tab, click Norton Family.

  4. If Norton Family is grayed out, click Enable.

  5. Click Restart Firefox.

Check the status of Norton Family plug-in in Google Chrome

  1. Start Google Chrome.

  2. In the top-right corner, click the Customize and control Google Chrome icon, and click Settings.

  3. In the left pane, under Chrome, click Extensions.

  4. From the list of extensions, if Norton Family is grayed out, click Enable,
