Including or excluding a file or folder in a backup set of Norton Online Backup

STEP 1

Include a file or folder in a backup set

  1. Go to the Norton Online Backup website.

  2. Click Sign In.

  3. Type your email address and password, and then click Sign In.

  4. Next to the backup set that you want to include a file or folder to, click Settings.

  5. On the What tab, next to Additional Files and Folders, click Add Files or Add Folders.

    Browse and select the files or folder that you want to add to the backup.

  6. When you finish adding files and folders, click Save.

STEP 2

Exclude a file or folder from a backup set

  1. Go to the Norton Online Backup website.

  2. Click Sign In.

  3. Type your email address and password, and then click Sign In.

  4. Next to the backup set that you want to exclude a file or folder from, click Settings.

  5. On the What tab, next to Advanced Rules, click Add Rule.

  6. In the Add Advanced Rule dialog box, from the drop-down list, select Exclude.

  7. Type the full path for the file or folder that you want to exclude from the backup, and then click Add.

  8. Repeat steps 5 to 7 for each file or folder that you want to exclude.

  9. Click Save.
