Message: "Your activation has failed. Please ensure that you have entered your activation code correctly..." when I activate Norton Utilities 14.0

This error appears when the Activation Code that you enter is incorrect. Make sure that you type the Activation Code, user name, and email address correctly.

If the problem persists, run Smart Update to install all the available updates, and then try to activate Norton Utilities.

Run Smart Update

  1. Start Norton Utilities.

    If the User Account Control window appears, click Continue.

  2. In the top-right corner of the window, click Smart Update.

  3. Click Next.

    Smart Update connects to the Update Server and checks for available updates.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Click Finish.
