How to export or import Norton Firewall settings in Norton Internet Security 4 for Mac

STEP 1

Export Norton Firewall settings

  1. Start Norton Firewall.

  2. In the left pane, click Location Awareness Settings.

  3. In the right pane, click Manage Settings.

  4. From the current location drop-down menu, select the location whose settings you want to export.

  5. Click the settings icon at the bottom of the window, and then click Export.

  6. In the Export window, choose the settings you want to export.

  7. If you want to password protect the exported settings, type a password in the Password textbox.

  8. Click Export.

  9. In the Save window, specify the location to save the settings, and then click Export.

STEP 2

Import Norton Firewall settings

  1. Start Norton Firewall.

  2. In the left pane, click Location Awareness Settings.

  3. In the right pane, click Manage Settings.

  4. From the current location drop-down box, select the location for which you want to import firewall settings.

  5. Click the settings icon at the bottom of the window, and then click Import.

  6. Locate the firewall settings backup file and then click Import.
