Synchronize with the Norton subscription server

If your subscription renewal date is incorrect, you can synchronize your Norton product with the Symantec subscription server to correct the date.

Force your Norton product to synchronize with the Symantec server

  1. Start your Norton product.

  2. On the top-right corner of the window, click Support or Help > Subscription Status.

  3. Click Finish or Close.

What is synchronizing?

  • Synchronizing updates the Norton subscription server with the subscription information that is stored on your computer. After synchronization, your subscription status (current or expired) will be the same on both your computer and the Norton subscription server.
