Message: "Device locked because SIM card is missing"

This problem can occur if the SIM card fails to connect to the mobile carrier or if no network is available. Make sure that the SIM card in your mobile device is inserted properly and active.

You can unlock your device from My Norton portal.

Unlock your device

  1. Sign in to Norton.

  2. Select your device that is locked.

  3. Under Manage Anti-Theft Features, click Remove Screen Lock.

Your device must be connected to the Internet to perform a remote unlock. Your mobile device is now unlocked.

For Android version 6.x or earlier, Remove Screen Lock feature permanently removes the device screen lock, and you need to set up the device screen lock again using Norton Mobile Security.

Remove Screen Lock feature is not supported on Android version 7.x or later. Ensure that you remember your device lock PIN to unlock your device.
