Recover missing Norton Toolbar in Internet Explorer
Norton Toolbar is installed along with Norton. Norton Toolbar cannot be downloaded separately as an add-on or extension on your browser. The latest versions of Norton are compatible with Internet Explorer versions 8, 9, 10, and 11.
You can get the latest version of Norton from Norton Update Center. If your Norton is from your service provider, check with your service provider to make sure that you have the latest version.
Run LiveUpdate

Start Norton.
If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click .

In the main window, double-click
, and then click . -
When Norton LiveUpdate is finished, click
. -
Run LiveUpdate until you see the message, "Your Norton product has the latest protection updates."

Exit all the programs, and restart the computer.
After you install all the updates for Norton, and still cannot find the Norton Toolbar in Internet Explorer, turn on the Norton Toolbar add-on.
Enable the Norton Toolbar in Internet Explorer

Start Internet Explorer.

In the list of Currently loaded add-ons, click .

If the status is shown as Disabled, click .

Restart Internet Explorer.
