System requirements for Norton Password Manager

To install and use Norton Password Manager, your computer must meet the following minimum system requirements:

Norton Identity Safe is not available for Mac computers any longer. If you already have Norton Identity Safe client installed on your Mac, you can continue to use it on Mac OS X 10.6.x up to 10.8.5, and Safari 5.1 to 6.6.1.

Uninstalling or upgrading your Norton product may remove the Norton Identity Safe client from your Mac.

System requirements - Windows devices

  • Operating systems:

    • Microsoft Windows® 10 (32-bit and 64-bit)

    • Microsoft Windows® 8 (32-bit and 64-bit)

    • Microsoft Windows® 7 with Service Pack 1 and later (32-bit and 64-bit)

    Hardware requirements:

    • 300-MHz or faster processor

    • 512 MB of RAM (256-MB minimum)

    • 100 MB of available hard disk space

    Supported browsers:

    • Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 or later

    • Mozilla Firefox

    • Google Chrome (current and last two major release 32-bit versions)

    • Microsoft Edge

    • Apple Safari 4.0 or later

    Internet connection

    • You must have an active Internet connection to access Norton Password Manager

System requirements - Mobile devices

  • Android devices:

    • Android OS 4.1 or later

    • 550-MHz processor

    • 250 MB of RAM

    • 1.8 MB of storage

    • Active Internet connection

    iOS devices:

    • iPhones or iPads running the current and previous two versions of Apple iOS

    • Active Internet connection
