Update your credit card information

You can update your credit card information by signing in to your account.

When your subscription is due for renewal, and if the credit card information in your account is outdated, we send you a notification to update your credit card. You can also update this information by clicking on the notification. If you see a message that "we are not able to process changes to your credit card information", then it could be due to some regulations implemented by the regulatory bodies. In such cases, to renew a subscription, please proceed to renew.norton.com.

Update your billing information from your computer

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Hover over your profile icon, click Account Settings, and then click Billing Information.
  3. Depending on your situation, do one of the following:
    • To update an existing card, click the Edit icon next to your card and type in any information that you want to update.
    • To add a new card, fill in the required information.
  4. Click Save.
            "Update successful" message is displayed when you save the changes, and a notification email is sent to your registered email confirming the changes.

Update your billing information from your mobile device

  1. Sign in to your account from your mobile device.
  2. On the top-right corner, tap on the hamburger menu.
  3. Tap Manage My Subscriptions.
  4. On the My Account page, tap Billing Information.
  5. Depending on your situation, do one of the following:
    • To update an existing card, click the Edit icon next to your card and type in any information that you want to update.
    • To add a new card, fill in the required information.

For Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan

If your order number starts with APXXXXXXXX or NPXXXXXXXX or if you have Norton 360 Standard Plus, follow the steps above to change your billing information.

If your order number starts with SY, visit the below link to change your billing information. You will need your order number and email address or phone number that was used when you ordered. 

You can find your order number from the emails received from Norton:

  • The subject of the email is "NortonLifeLock Order #NP***** purchase completed"
  • The subject of the email is "Automatic renewal service, notification of billing completion". Check the section [Order number at the point of Automatic renewal enrollment] SY********.


If you are unable to update your card details:

  • Check if the card details you entered are correct
  • Use a different browser to enter your card details
  • Use a different credit/debit card
  • If you see the message "Invalid Credit Card number for specified card", clear the Card Number field and re-enter the card number to save your changes.
