If you are planning to upgrade to Windows 8, you can continue to use your Norton Protection on your new operating system. The process to set up your Norton product varies depending on how you upgrade or acquire Windows 8.
Before you upgrade to Windows 8, make sure that you have the latest version of the Norton product. If you do not have the latest version, you may see a compatibility error directing you to get the latest version. When you upgrade to Windows 8 from Windows XP or Vista, you may need to reinstall your Norton product after the upgrade. Log in to Norton Management and verify that your current product is registered to your account and the license is saved. If you do not see your product key, you need to register your product key before upgrading to Windows 8. After you upgrade to Windows 8, download your Norton product from your Norton Management. For more information, read I want to download my Norton product.
