You might want to configure or change your backup settings for a variety of reasons. You may have acquired a new disk drive that you want to use for backups. You may decide that a different schedule is more convenient than the one you chose. You may decide to add specific files or folders to your backup.
Start your Norton product.
Under Backup Tasks, click .
On the What tab, under Sources, check the drives or My Documents from where you want to back up files or folders.
Under File Types, select the file categories that you want to back up.
If you do not want to backup any particular category, uncheck it. To add additional files or folders, click, and then click or to select the files or folders.
To change your backup destination, on the Where tab, select the new destination.
Backup schedule is set to Automatic by default.
To change your backup schedule, on the When tab, select your schedule from the list. Depending on your schedule, select Start Time, Day, or Day of the Month.
