The Norton Protection Score displays the total score calculated by Norton, which reflects your current online security based on whether the key features are turned on and actively helping protect you. It provides a clear view of your protection, allowing you to identify gaps and take action based on the recommendations displayed alongside your score.
To improve your score, follow the recommendations that include enabling features such as Secure VPN, Smart Firewall, and Safe Web, or adding personal information for enhanced monitoring. You can view the protection score on all devices where you have installed your protection.
Norton Protection Score is only compatible with Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP 1) or later, Mac devices with macOS X 10.13.x or later, Android devices with Google Android version 10.x or later, and iOS devices with Apple iOS 16.x or later. Ensure that your devices are connected to the Internet so they can collect data for your Protection Score.
Norton Protection Score is currently available as a limited early access feature for select users in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. The feature support is continuously expanding for other regions, with future updates.
Your protection scores and recommendations are calculated based on the features available in your current plan. Also, the points mentioned in the recommendations section may vary based on the device type and the number of devices on which you have installed your protection.
The Norton Protection Score is only supported for Norton AntiVirus Plus and Norton 360 plans.
