Uninstall your Norton device security product on Windows
This article contains instructions to uninstall your Norton device security app from your Windows computer.

Uninstall your Norton device security app
Before you follow the steps below, ensure that you close your Norton application if it is already open.

Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

Type in the following text, then press Enter.
appwiz.cpl

In the list of installed programs, click Norton 360, then click Remove or Uninstall.

Click Yes to confirm.

Click Next.

When the uninstall finishes, exit all programs and restart the computer.
If the standard uninstall fails or shows errors, we recommend using the Norton 360 Remover tool to remove Norton device security from your Windows device. The Norton 360 Remover tool lets you uninstall, or remove and reinstall, the latest version of the Norton device security app on your Windows device.
You can reinstall the app using the installation file that you downloaded from your Norton account. To know more, read Download and install your Norton device security product.
