After you Download and install Norton AntiTrack, Norton prompts you to set up the Norton AntiTrack browser extensions.
Follow these steps to add the extension through the Let's get started! intro screen:
Install the Norton AntiTrack browser extension on Microsoft Edge
- Click Add to Edge to install the Norton AntiTrack extension on your Edge browser.
- On the Edge Add-ons page, select Get ▸ Add extension.
- In the upper-right corner of your browser, click
Extensions ▸ the
Pin icon next to Norton AntiTrack to pin the extension to your browser toolbar. Then click Done.
- Click Next to read through the welcome pages. Optionally, click Do it later to skip this step.
- Click Launch AntiTrack App.
The Norton AntiTrack extension is now installed on your Microsoft Edge browser.
Install the Norton AntiTrack browser extension on Google Chrome
- Click Add to Chrome to install the Norton AntiTrack extension on your Chrome browser.
- On the Chrome web store page, select Add to Chrome ▸ Add extension.
- In the upper-right corner of your browser, click
Extensions ▸
Pin next to Norton AntiTrack to pin the extension to your browser toolbar, then click Done.

Install Norton AntiTrack extension on additional browsers
You can install the Norton AntiTrack extension any time, even after the initial set-up.
Follow these steps to install the extension on your other browsers:
- Open Norton AntiTrack, and click Manage.
- On the Manage Browsers screen, click Enable Protection next to the browser of your choice. Then, refer to the steps to install the Norton AntiTrack extension.
The Norton AntiTrack extension is now installed on your browser.
Install the Norton AntiTrack browser extension on Mac
After installing Norton AntiTrack on Mac, Norton prompts you to set up the Norton AntiTrack browser extensions.
If you have installed Norton AntiTrack for the first time, you will see the Let's get Started! window to install the extensions.
From the Let's get Started! window, click the link for the browser on which you want to install the extension.
Install the Norton AntiTrack browser extension on Safari
- In the Let's get started! window, click Add to Safari.
- Launch Safari.
- Click Safari on the top-left corner of the screen and click Preferences.
- In the General window that appears, click the Extensions tab.
- On the left pane, enable the checkbox next to Norton AntiTrack.

In the prompt that appears, click Turn On.

- In the Extension window, click Always Allow on every Website.

- In the Norton AntiTrack window, click Next.
Norton AntiTrack extension is now installed on your Safari browser.

If you have installed Norton AntiTrack extension on any one of the browsers, follow the steps to install the extension on other browsers.
- Open Norton AntiTrack.
- On the Norton AntiTrack home screen, click Manage.
- On the Manage Browsers screen, do one of the following:
- To install Norton AntiTrack extension on your Safari browser, next to Safari, click Enable Protection.
Launch the Safari browser and follow the instructions mentioned in Safari to install the Norton AntiTrack extension.
- To install Norton AntiTrack extension on your Google Chrome browser, next to Google Chrome, click Enable Protection.
Follow the instructions present on your Google Chrome browser to install the Norton AntiTrack extension.
- To install Norton AntiTrack extension on your Mozilla Firefox browser, next to Mozilla Firefox, click Enable Protection.
Follow the instructions present on your Mozilla Firefox browser to install the Norton AntiTrack extension.
Note: After updating your Norton AntiTrack app to the latest version, you may see the following error message when you open the Norton AntiTrack app or extension:
Norton AntiTrack differs from previously opened versions. Are you sure you want to open it?
To fix this problem, click Open Anyway displayed on the screen.
Install the Norton AntiTrack browser extension on iOS
- Launch Norton AntiTrack.
- In the Setup AntiTrack for Safari page, tap Set it Up.
Note: You can also install the Norton AntiTrack Extension on Safari from the hamburger icon.
- In the Safari browser window, tap AA in the address bar.

- Tap Manage Extensions.

- In the Manage Extensions screen that appears, move the slider to enable Norton AntiTrack and then click Done.

- In the Safari browser window, tap AA again in the address bar.

- Tap Norton AntiTrack.

- In the pop-up screen that appears, click Always Allow.

- In the next pop-up screen, tap Always Allow on Every Website.
