Block or unblock Ad Trackers in Norton Secure VPN

Each mobile device has a unique advertising ID which may be used to track your details like name, address, and age. Advertising IDs may be used by app developers to create targeted advertisements that are relevant to you. The Ad Tracking feature in Norton Secure VPN blocks targeted advertisements.

A small number of websites require Ad Tracker Blocking to be disabled to work properly. If you trust these websites, you can block Ad Tracking.

Enable or disable Block Ad Trackers on Android or iOS

  1. Open Norton Secure VPN.

  2. Tap the Ad Tracker icon at the bottom of the screen.

  3. In the Ad Tracker screen, slide Block Ad Trackers to enable or disable Ad Trackers

    Ad Tracker blocking works only when Virtual Private Network is turned on.

  1. Open Norton Secure VPN app on your desktop.

  2. Click the Ad Tracking tab on the app and slide Block Ad Trackers to enable or disable Ad Trackers.

    In the My Norton window, click the drop-down arrow next to Secure VPN and click Ad Tracking.

  2. Click the Ad Tracking tab and slide Block Ad Trackers to enable or disable Ad Trackers.
