To fix this problem, run LiveUpdate to allow access to the application that is unable to access Internet.
Open your Norton device security product.
If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.
In the Norton main window, click LiveUpdate.
Run LiveUpdate until no further updates are available for your Norton product.
If prompted, restart your Mac.
If the problem persists, configure the Application Blocking and Connection Blocking settings.
Open your Norton device security product.
If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.
In the Norton main window, click Settings.
In the left pane, click Firewall.
The Application Blocking window lists the applications and the connection settings for each of the applications.
In the Application Blocking window, select the application that cannot access Internet, and under Setting, click allow.
If the application is not listed, click Add Application, select the application, and click Choose. Click Done.
