You have used all your available Norton device security installs

Introduction

Norton device security allows installation on up to ten different devices. If this limit is reached, you cannot install it on another device and may need to remove an unused installation or acquire a different app to meet your protection needs.

Ten or fewer devices to protect?

If you have installed your Norton device security app on a device you are no longer using, you can transfer the license to a new device.

1. Sign in to your account.

   If you have obtained your app from a service provider, use the partner login link and partner challenge code, or the 4-digit partner unit ID you received in your welcome mail.

2. On the top-right corner of the page, hover over My Account and click My Subscriptions.

3. Find the Norton plan you want to manage.

4. Under that plan, click Manage Devices (this link only appears if at least one device is using that plan).

5. In the pop-up window, choose the device that you no longer use, and click the bin icon.

6. Click Remove to confirm.

7. To install Norton on a new device, click Download or Share.

8. If you are on the device you want to protect, select Agree & Download. If you are not on that device, click Send Download Link to Email or SMS the link to the new device.

9. Open the installer on the device and follow the on-screen steps.

10. Sign in when prompted to finish activating your Norton protection.

More than ten devices?

If your license of the Norton device security app does not meet your device coverage needs, you may need to purchase another app to cover all your devices.
