Migrate your BullGuard protection to Norton

Migration of your BullGuard protection to Norton is automatic. Your protection continues uninterrupted during and after migration. In case you are still on BullGuard protection, you can follow the instructions in this article to manually migrate to Norton GO.

Migrating your BullGuard protection involves four steps:

  1. Confirming if you have Norton GO subscription

  2. Uninstalling your BullGuard product

  3. Restarting your device

  4. Downloading and installing your Norton protection

Confirm availability of Norton GO subscription in your Norton account

Your BullGuard account is already migrated to Norton. You can use your BullGuard account credentials to sign in to your Norton account and check for availability of your Norton GO subscription.

If you use a username for your BullGuard account, you must add '@bullguard.com' to that username while entering the email address field.

  1. Open your browser and go the following URL:

    https://my.norton.com

  2. Click Sign In.

  3. Enter your BullGuard account credentials and click Sign In.

    If you have trouble accessing your Norton account, contact Member Services and Support with your product serial number. For more information, see Message: "Trouble signing in?" while migrating BullGuard protection to Norton.

  4. On the top-right corner, move the mouse pointer over your profile name and then click My Subscriptions from the menu that appears.

  5. In the My Subscriptions page, confirm if you see your Norton GO subscription listed.

  6. If you do not see your Norton GO subscription listed, contact Norton Member Services and Support.

Uninstall your BullGuard security product

If the BullGuard product is installed on multiple devices, make sure that you uninstall the BullGuard product from all your devices.

I have a Windows PC

  1. Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.

  2. In the Run dialog box, type in the following text, and then press Enter:

    appwiz.cpl

  3. In the list of currently installed programs, select your BullGuard product, and then click Remove or Uninstall.

  4. If the User Account Control window appears, click Yes.

  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

I have a Mac device

  1. Click the desktop or the Finder icon in the Dock to be in the Finder.

  2. In the left pane, click Applications.

  3. From the list of applications, select the BullGuard product icon, and then drag and drop it to Trash.

I have an iPhone/iPad

  1. On the Home screen, tap and hold on the BullGuard VPN icon until it jiggles.

  2. In the top-left corner of the app icon, tap X.

  3. Tap Delete to confirm.

I have an Android phone

  1. From the Home screen, go to Settings.

  2. In the Settings menu, navigate to Apps > Manage Apps.

  3. From the list of apps, tap BullGuard VPN.

  4. Tap Uninstall.

  5. Tap OK to confirm.

  6. When the uninstall finishes, tap OK.

Restart your device

If the uninstall completed without a device restart, manually restart your device.

A restart ensures there are no left-over traces of the uninstalled product/app.

Download and install your Norton protection

Download and install Norton protection on Windows

  1. Go to my.Norton.com and sign in with your Norton account email address and password.

  2. In the My Norton portal, click Download. Next, on the Get Started page, click Agree and Download.

  3. Once the download completes run the installer from your browser, press Ctrl + J key, to open the Downloads folder in your browser, and double-click the file that you downloaded.

  4. If the User Account Control window appears, click Continue/Yes and follow the on-screen instructions.

Download and install Norton protection on Mac

  1. Go to my.Norton.com and sign in with your Norton account email address and password.

  2. In the My Norton portal, click Download. Next, on the Get Started page, click Agree and Download.

  3. Before you install, we recommend that you click Norton License Agreement and read your product license agreement.

  4. For detailed install instructions, read Download and install your Norton device security product on Mac.

To get the latest Norton product version, ensure you are on Mac OS X 10.10.x or later.

Download and install Norton protection on Android

  1. Open your Play Store app and search for Norton 360.

  2. On the Norton 360 app screen, tap Install > Open.

  3. Read and accept the License and Services Agreement, acknowledge our Global Privacy Statement, and then tap Sign In.

  4. Type your Norton account email address and password, and then tap Sign In.

  5. Wait for activation to complete. Norton 360 app installation is now complete.

    If you see any problems with installing Norton 360 app on your mobile device, make sure that your device has the latest version of Google Play Store app, and all the latest system updates installed.

Download and install Norton protection on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open your App Store app and search for Norton 360.

  2. Tap Get > Install > Done.

  3. If you are on an iPad, tap Install on iPad and follow the on-screen instructions.

  4. When the download finishes, tap Open to launch the Norton 360 app.

  5. Read and accept the License and Services Agreement, acknowledge our Global Privacy Statement, and then tap Continue.

  6. Type in your account email address and password, and then tap Sign In.

  7. Wait for activation to complete. Norton 360 app installation is now complete.
