We are ending support for the Norton Safe Web app for Safari and the Norton Safe Web Safari extension, which are part of the same suite. After the update, the Safari extension will no longer show site ratings or block phishing and malicious websites. Norton Safety ratings do not appear on third-party search engines like Google, Yahoo, or Bing search results. You need to install the Norton Safe Search extension on Google Chrome to get the Norton safety ratings. Norton Safe Search extension is not available on Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge browsers.
Norton Safe Web helps you browse, search, and shop safely online. It analyzes websites that you visit and detects if there are any viruses, spyware, malware, or other threats.
Norton Safe Web is supported on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox browsers.
Work with Norton Safe Web

If you see the Dangerous webpage blocked prompt on the webpage you access, click the Settings icon at the top-right corner of the screen.

In the Settings window that appears, choose one of the following:

If you want to block the website, click Block this site.

If you want to view a notification banner on your website, click Show notification banner.

If you want to see an alert on your Norton Safe Web extension, click Alert me from extension icon only.
