Recover the missing Norton extensions for your browser on Mac

If you recently updated to, or reinstalled the latest version of Norton product and cannot find the Norton extension in your browser, you need to manually install the Norton extension in your browser.

Before you install the Norton extensions in your web browser, make sure that you have the latest version of Norton product, and also the latest version of your browser installed.

Enable Norton extensions in your browser

  1. Open your Norton device security product.

If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.

  2. In the Norton product main window, click Settings or Advanced, and click Safe Search.

  3. Next to your browser name, click the arrow icon to launch the Norton extension page in your browser.

For Safari 12.0 or later on macOS 10.14.4 or later, you are redirected to Norton Safe Web or Norton Safe Web Plus page in App Store. Download the Norton app extension from App Store, and click Open.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Norton extensions.
