Message: "VPN connection error: VPN is having trouble connecting to the server..."
This error is displayed if VPN fails to connect to the VPN server, which can be caused due to temporary problems with your network connection. To fix this problem, wait for some time and try connecting to VPN again.

Try connecting to a different VPN region

Example #1: If you are in the USA and the VPN region is set to "Auto-Select", then, connect to the USA region manually from the VPN region tab

Example #2: If you are in the USA and the VPN region is already selected to the "USA", then, connect to the closest different region "Canada" or "Mexico"

Example #3: If you are in Germany and the VPN region is already selected to "Germany", then, connect to the closest different region "Switzerland" or "France"
Check your Internet connection
Try to access the internet. If you are having an issue accessing the internet when the VPN is disconnected, then, the problem is with the internet connection to which you are connected.
Sign out & restart device

Sign out from Norton Secure VPN.

Open Norton Secure VPN app

Tap the Menu icon on the top-left corner of the app

Tap Log out and tap Yes to confirm

Exit Norton Secure VPN.

On iOS - Swipe-up the Norton Secure VPN app to quit

On Android - Go to the recently opened apps and close Norton Secure VPN

Restart the device.

Open Norton Secure VPN app & sign in with your Norton Account - Allow the Notification and VPN configuration
Connect to a different network
