End-of-availability of Anti-Theft, Contacts Backup and LinkGuard features of Norton Mobile Security Android

We are constantly reviewing and assessing our Norton Mobile Security Android features to ensure the highest value protection features, and app experience for our Norton-LifeLock customers. As a result of this assessment, we have decided to discontinue the above features of Norton Mobile Security Android.

If you are interested in replacing the Anti-Theft features from Norton Mobile Security Android, Google has a service that may serve as an alternative called "Find My Device".

The contacts that are backed up using the Contacts Backup feature of Norton Mobile Security Android will no longer be available after December 9, 2019. If you want to restore your old contacts backups, read Restore your contacts using Norton Mobile Security.

If you are interested in replacing the Contacts Backup feature from Norton Mobile Security Android, Google has a service that helps to backup your contacts. For more information on how to export or backup your contacts using the Google service, read this Google Support article.

While the LinkGuard feature and name is being removed from the user interface, you will now get the same link protection benefit from the Web Protection feature included in Norton Mobile Security Android.

Web Protection feature provides protection against online scams by helping block fraudulent websites.
