Message: "Compromised network: This network is compromised by an unknown third party..." in Norton Mobile Security

If Norton Mobile Security repeatedly displays an alert about compromised Wi-Fi network which you think is incorrect, ensure that you update Norton Mobile Security to the latest available version from Google Play Store.


Update Norton Mobile Security

  1. From the Home screen, launch Play Store.

  2. In the top-left corner, tap the menu icon and then tap My apps & games.

  3. From the list of apps, find Norton Security and Antivirus, and then tap Update next to it.

    Wait until Norton Mobile Security finishes the update from Play Store.

    If you already have the latest version of Norton Mobile Security, it displays Open.


Run Wi-Fi Security scan

  1. Launch Norton Mobile Security.

  2. Slide through the screens until you reach Online screen.

  3. On the Online screen, tap Wi-Fi Security.

    Wait for the Wi-Fi Security check to finish.
