The Pause VPN feature in Norton VPN allows you to pause your VPN connection for as long as you need and resume automatically. This feature allows you to temporarily suspend your VPN connection for a specified duration and automatically reconnect after a specific period of time. It is useful for accessing trusted local resources, resolving connectivity issues, or briefly bypassing the VPN for specific apps or websites without compromising long-term privacy by resuming the VPN connection automatically. You can select a specific period of time you want to pause your VPN connection.
Norton VPN will automatically reconnect after the selected period ends. If you wish to reconnect to Norton VPN before the timer expires, click the Resume button on the Norton screen.
The Pause feature automatically resumes the VPN connection when connected to an unsecured or compromised network, protecting online privacy.
The Pause feature will reset if you restart your device.
