Download your Norton device security app purchased from a retail store

Introduction and prerequisites

To install the Norton device security app that you purchased from a retail store or a third-party affiliated website, you need to create a Norton account or add the purchased product to your existing account.

Prerequisites:

• You need your product key. This key is a combination of alphabetic and numeric characters without any special characters.

• If you purchased a boxed product online or at a local retail store, you can find your product key inside the box on a sticker or printed on a card, or in an order confirmation email.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Please visit norton.com/setup.

2. Enter your product key and click Next.

3. Enter a valid email address and click Next.

4. If you are not signed in already, you will be prompted to sign in. You can get a code sent to the email address provided by clicking on Send me a code. You can also type in your password and click Sign In.
   If you do not have an account, click Create an account, and then complete the sign-up process.

5. If prompted, enter your payment details to subscribe to the automatic renewal plan, then click Activate Subscription or Activate Automatic Renewal.

6. Read the License and Services Agreement and click Agree and Download.

7. Follow the instructions displayed to Run or Save the Downloader file.

8. Click Install Norton 360.

   Once the Norton installer is executed, your app is installed and activated automatically. Your device displays its current protection status and additional software can be installed from within your account.
   If you see the message "Invalid Product Key", read Message: "Invalid Product Key".
