Your Norton product lets you view a range of tasks it performs to help protect you, including scans run, alerts sent, items quarantined, applications blocked, or attempts detected to access your network.

The Security History window lets you monitor virus detections, virus scans, LiveUpdate, and other tasks your Norton product performs.

In addition, you can view the statistics of the access attempts and the statuses of different features of your Norton product.

View tasks that Norton performs to protect your Mac

  1. Open your Norton device security product.

  2. On the left pane, click Security.

  3. In the Security dashboard, click Security History.

  4. The Security History window lists all the tasks that your Norton product performs.

  5. You can also filter and select the categories and the severity levels of the activities by clicking the All Categories and Any Severity drop-down list.
