Resolve compromised passwords with Norton Password Manager

Your password may be compromised if your password is found in large lists of known user account passwords. These lists are built from the history of hackers maliciously accessing various websites and disclosing their internal account information. Cybercriminals may look for accounts that use compromised passwords in order to take them over or extract valuable information. Hence you should change compromised passwords immediately.

Detection of compromised passwords

Norton Password Manager queries Have I Been Pwned to detect the compromised password by sending the first five characters of password hash. You can allow Norton Password Manager to change the password of a website or ignore the notification.

You need to setup your Norton Password Manager vault and make sure your vault is unlocked to view the compromised password notifications.
