You can download and install Norton VPN on your Windows or Mac device from your Norton account. To download and install Norton VPN on Android or iOS, you need to go to the Play Store or App Store to download the app.
Depending on your operating system, choose one of the following:
Go to my.Norton.com and click Sign In.
Enter your email address and password and click Sign In.
In the My Norton page, on the top-right corner of the screen, hover over My Account and click My Subscriptions.
In the My Subscriptions page, next to Norton VPN, click Download.
In the Get Started page, click Agree and Download.
Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Launch the VPN app.
Sign in to VPN with your Norton account.
On the VPN dashboard, click Connect.
Open Safari web browser.
Sign in to your account.
Type in your email address and password for Norton, and click Sign In.
In the dashboard page, click Download.
If you want to install a different subscribed product, go to My Subscriptions. In the My Subscriptions tab, select the Norton VPN product with an active subscription and click Download.
In the Get Started page, click Agree and Download.
When the download finishes, double-click the file that you downloaded to launch the Norton installer.
Click Agree & Install.
In some cases, Norton provides you an alert to join the Norton Community Watch that collects information about potential security risks from your computer and sends the information to Norton for analysis. Do any one of the following:
Click Join Now to enable the Norton Community Watch on your Norton product.
Click Maybe Later to join the Norton Community Watch later.
You can click Learn More to know more about Norton Community Watch.
When prompted, type your Mac administrator user account password and click Install Helper.
In the Norton installation window, click Open Now or Click here.
Click Allow corresponding to the Norton message.
In the Norton VPN installation window, click Continue.
Click Restart to complete the installation process.
Do one of the following:
On Android, go to Play Store.
On iOS, tap the App Store icon on your home screen.
Type Norton VPN - Fast and Secure in the search box and select the app from the results.
Do one of the following:
On Android, on the application details screen, tap Install.
On iOS, tap GET and then tap Install.
Open the app and tap Sign in.
Enter the login credentials and sign in to your account.
In your VPN app, tap Connect to activate Norton VPN.
Do one of the following:
On Android, if you get a Would Like to Add VPN Configurations pop-up, tap Allow.
On iOS, follow the below steps:
In the "Norton VPN" Would Like to send you Notifications, tap Allow.
In the Secure your connections and your browsing screen, tap Set up now.
In the "Norton VPN" Would Like to Add VPN Configurations, click Allow.
Enter your device passcode or password to complete your VPN configuration.
The Norton VPN app can be accessed on iPad in both Portrait and Landscape modes. The Landscape mode is supported on iPad v2 or later.
On your Amazon Fire TV home screen, go to Find and click the Search icon.
In the search box, type Norton VPN – Fast & Secure and select the app from the results.
Click Download or the Cloud download icon to install the app.
After installation, click Open to launch the app.
Sign in to your Norton VPN on your mobile device.
Scan the QR code that appears on your TV with your mobile device.
Norton VPN is now activated on your Amazon Fire TV.
Before installing Norton VPN on your Amazon Fire TV device, ensure the following:
Norton VPN is on version 1.8 or later.
Amazon Fire TV device is running on Fire OS 8 or later.
To find out the Norton VPN app version and the Android Fire OS version, follow the steps below:
Launch the Norton VPN app on your Amazon Fire TV.
Using your TV remote, select the About menu at the top of the screen.
You should see the Norton VPN app version at the bottom of the screen.
Launch Amazon Fire TV and go to Settings.
Select My Fire TV or Device & Software (name depends on your Fire OS version) and then click About.
On the right-side of the screen for Fire OS or Software Version, you will find your current OS version.
If you have installed the Fire TV mobile app, you can find the OS version in the following method:
Open the Amazon Fire TV app on your phone.
Open the Amazon Fire TV app on your phone. Make sure your phone and Fire TV and Stick are on the same WiFi network and tap your Fire TV device to connect.
In the app, use the remote controls to do this on the TV screen:
Press Home.
Go to Settings.
Select My Fire TV or Device & Software.
Select About.
On the right side of your screen, you should see your OS version of Fire OS.
