Transfer your protection from one device to another device

Your subscription comes with a limited number of licenses to protect your various devices. Find out how many devices you can protect with your Norton subscription.

If you have used up your licenses,

  • You can transfer a license from an unused device to allow installation on another device (or)
  • You can purchase a product with more seats from norton.com/products and contact Member Support & Services to discuss your options.

Remove your existing device and transfer your license to another device

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. In the top-right corner of the page, hover over the account icon or photo and click My Subscriptions.

  3. On the My Account page, on the My Subscriptions tab, select the product you want to manage.

  4. Under the product, click Manage Licenses.

  5. In the pop-up window, choose the device that you no longer use, and then under Remove License, click the bin icon.

  6. Click Remove to confirm.

  7. To install Norton on a new device, click Download.

  8. In the Get Started page, click Send Download Link. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the product on a different device.

Tips

  • Your product subscription begins when you complete the purchase. For example, if you have 100 days of subscription remaining and you uninstall the product from your old device and install it on the new device, your product will have 100 days remaining.
  • Installing on a virtual machine will consume a license seat from your subscription.
