Fix problem with hidden Norton Toolbar in Google Chrome

A recent update caused the Norton Security Toolbar to be hidden by default. Even when the Norton Toolbar is hidden, it still protects you while browsing online with its Norton Safe Web, Norton Antiphishing, and Norton Scam Insight features. It will still show block pages for these features.

To make the Norton Security Toolbar visible, click the Norton Security Toolbar extension button on the top-right corner of the Google Chrome browser.

The toolbar will be shown for the duration of the current website; browsing to a new website or opening a new tab will cause the toolbar to be hidden again.

This update was released to address a display issue that occurs when the Norton Security Toolbar is displayed with the latest Norton Identity Safe extension, and causes some Identity Safe items to be positioned incorrectly.

We would like to reassure you that after this update Norton is still active and providing protection, even though the toolbar is not visible.
