Norton Password Manager is supported on Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox browsers and the extension can be installed from the home page.
If you are an existing local vault user on Internet Explorer, to continue using local vault data, follow the steps:
Open your Norton device security product.
If you see the My Norton window, next to Device Security, click Open.
In the Norton product main window, double-click Internet Security, and then click Password Manager.
In the Norton Password Manager window, click Export.
If the default browser of your computer is Internet Explorer, we recommend you to change your default browser to any of the supported browsers. To know how to change the default browser of your computer to any of the supported browsers, read Change the default browser of your computer.
If you already have any of the supported browsers as your default browser, go to Step 3.
Install the Norton Password Manager extension from the home page on any of the supported browsers.
Open your browser.
Enter the vault password if you receive a prompt.
In the Import your Data screen, under Source, select Norton Password Manager (CSV) from the drop-down list.
Drag and drop the exported file or click Select File to upload the CSV file.
Select the passwords and notes that you want to store securely in the vault and click Import.
Click Finish to complete importing the file.
