Activate pre-paid Norton subscription purchased from retail store

To install your Norton product purchased from a retail store or a third-party affiliated website, you must create a Norton account or add the purchased product to the existing account.

During the setup process, you will be offered to enroll in an automatically renewing subscription.

Download and install your Norton product on your computer

  1. Sign In to your Norton account.

  2. If you are not signed in already, you will be prompted to sign in. Type in your email address and password, and click Sign In.

    If you do not have an account, click Create an Account, and then complete the sign-up process.

  3. In the Get Started page, read the terms and conditions for automatically renewing subscriptions and click Agree and Continue.

  4. On the Payment Method page, provide your billing address and credit card details, and click Agree and Continue.

    The subscription that you bought requires this information before you can activate. Once activated, you can log into your Norton account and cancel the automatic renewal.

  5. Verify your payment method and click Continue.

  6. In the Get Started page, type the product key and click >.

  7. Click Agree & Download.

    If you have more than one Norton product in your account, choose the product you want to download and click Next.

    Click Load More if the product you desire to download is not visible in the list.

    To install on Another Device, click Send a Download Link.

  8. Follow the instructions displayed to Run or Save the Downloader file. These can be different depending on your browser. If you save the file, make sure that you double-click the file from the saved location after the download is completed.

    Once the Downloader is executed, your product will be downloaded, installed, and activated automatically. Your device will display its current protection status and additional software can be installed from within your Norton account.
