Message: "Server Error (-2007)" appears while setting up your Norton app
If you experience “Server Error (-2007)” when trying to activate your Norton subscription or sign in to a Norton app on your device, follow the instructions in this article to resolve the issue.
Remove the device from your subscription and try activating the app again:
- Sign in to your Norton account.
- In the top-right corner of the page, hover over the account icon or photo and click My Subscriptions.
- On the My Subscriptions page, select the product you want to manage and click Manage Devices.
- In the pop-up window, choose the affected device and then under Remove Device, click the Trash icon.
- Click Remove to confirm.
- Open the Norton app and reactivate your subscription.
