This problem occurs when there is an issue with the backup component in Norton. To resolve this problem, you have to review and save your backup settings.
In the Action Required window, click OK.
In the Backup Settings window, review your settings and save them. If you exit without saving your settings, your backup set will be removed.
In the Backup Settings window, on the What tab, under Sources, check the drives or My Documents from where you want to backup files or folders.
Under File Types, select the file categories that you want to back up.
If you do not want to backup any particular category, uncheck it. To add additional files or folders, click Add or exclude files and folders, and then click Include File or Include Folder to select the files or folders.
To change your backup destination, on the Where tab, select the new destination.
To change your backup schedule, on the When tab, select your schedule from the list. Depending on your schedule, select Start Time, Day, or Day of the Month.
Click Save Settings, and then click Close.
