Update your financial accounts, mailing address, and other personal information for Dark Web Monitoring*

You can update or add your financial accounts, mailing address, and other personal information at any time by signing into your Norton account. Dark Web Monitoring powered by LifeLock monitors this information on the surface, deep, and dark web and notifies you when your information is found online. So, stay secure by keeping this information complete and up to date.

You can add the following personal information:

  • Email address (up to 5)

  • Mail address (up to 5)

  • Phone number (up to 5)

  • Insurance (up to 5) - includes all types of insurances, such as medical, home, and car

  • Driver's license (up to 1)

  • Credit card (up to 10)

  • Bank account (up to 10)

  • Gamertag (up to 10)

Major credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, can be added. Unfortunately, at this time, other types of cards, such as retail store cards or gift cards, are not supported.

If you have a plan that has full LifeLock ID Theft Protection

  1. Sign in to your Norton.

  2. On the ID Theft Protection tile, hover your mouse on the down arrow and then click Protect More Info.

  3. On the PERSONAL INFORMATION section, do the following:

    • To add or change a personal information, click Add or Update next to the corresponding field and make your changes.

    • To remove an information from monitoring, click Update next to the corresponding field and then click Remove next to the item that you want to stop protecting.

  4. On the FINANCIAL ACCOUNTS section, under Dark Web Monitoring, do the following:

    • If you have not added a bank account or a credit card, click Get Started. In the screen that pops up, add the account or the credit card that you want to protect from identity thieves.

    • To add another account or credit card, click Update next to the corresponding field and then click Add. Enter the account or credit card details and then click Save.

    • To remove an account or a credit card, click Update next to the corresponding field and then click Remove next to the item that you want to stop protecting.

  5. To spot suspicious activity on your financial account, under Transaction Monitoring, do the following:

    • To monitor an account, click Add, select your financial institution, and then connect your account.

If you have a plan that has only Dark Web Monitoring

  1. Sign in to your Norton.

  2. On the Dark Web Monitoring page, do the following:

    • To add a personal information, click the personal information that you want to manage and enter the required details.

    • To update or remove an information from monitoring, click the personal information that you want to manage. Click Update or Remove next to the item that you want to modify or stop protecting and then confirm the change.

*Applicable only for Canada, Japan, and US.
