Fix issues receiving text message alerts from LifeLock
Norton sends an opt-in text message to activate the phone number that you choose to receive text message alerts. If you did not receive the opt-in text, use the below information to resend the text.
Resend the text message

Sign in to your account.

Depending on your subscription, do one of the following:

If you see the My Norton page, click Monitored Info tab.

If you see the Member Portal page, click Manage Account tab.

Under the Contact Preferences section, unselect and select your phone number again to resend.
If you still have not received an opt-in text, try these steps:

Double check that your mobile device telephone number listed is correct.

Ensure that your cell phone carrier is supported.

If your carrier is supported, text "START" to 432578.

If you still do not receive your opt-in text, contact your carrier to ensure that no block exists on the phone number. You should ask your carrier the following questions:

"Does my plan have the ability to send and receive SMS messages from a standard rate short code of 432578?"

"If I text help to 432578 (a standard rate short code) I don't get a response. Why not?"

"Does my plan have any purchase blocking enabled? If so, can you enable purchasing?"

To Opt-Out from receiving SMS messages, text "STOP" to 432578.
