Password Combo List

What Happened?
When we detect your exposed username/email and password pair on the dark web as part of a combo list, we send you a notification. While we cannot remove this information from the dark web, you can take certain actions to protect it. The exposed password included in the Dark Web notification is partially masked or hidden for security purposes. If you received a notification with the masked password, follow the steps here to see the exposed password

Take action to protect your exposed data:

Username and/or Password
  1. Change your username if you have the option.
  2. Change your passwords linked to that username on all the sites where you might have used it.
  3. Choose a unique strong password on all sites where you might have used it. It’s recommended to not employ the same password each time.
  4. Review your credit reports and watch for new credit inquiry alerts or suspicious activity. Consider freezing your credit file.
  5. Set up 2-factor authentication whenever available for a website.
